Joachim Wolf

Joachim Wolf was born in 1959 in Paderborn, Germany as the fourth son of Liborius Wolf and Annalisa Wolf, maiden name Nixdorf. The nephew of Heinz Nixdorf (founder of Nixdorf Computer AG, today Diebold-Nixdorf) was able to travel various European countries at the age of 20 being already in his own fashion business.

In December 1984 he decided to visit his cousin in New York City for three weeks. Noticing immediately the chances of importing successfully antique northern European furniture from the 18th and 19th century. With founding of Annalisa Wolf Antiques in San Francisco he stayed until March 1996 in the USA.

During this time he got involved with leading American interior designers (i. e. Anthony Hail, Paul Vincent Wiseman and Thomas Bartlett) and also was the interior decorator for SR Homes in Parker, Colorado. SR Homes was the home building company of Stroh Ranch Developement Group in Parker Colorado, which was holding approx. 6,000 building lots for single family development.

Joachim was also invited by the American Cancer Society, to design the Master Bedroom for their showcase in 1992. For this undertaking more than 1000 single wood/leather pads were manufactured, to reflect the outside walls of the Estate. Accordingly to the Board of Directors, it was the most photographed room during this showcase.

Since also owning his own cabinet shop, staffed with German master craftsmen, some other interesting projects came along during this time. Furniture was made for movies like "Class Action" with Gene Hackman, a Sigourney Weaver movie and furnishing completely the house of movie / TV producer Robert Boyett of Miller Boyett Productions, Los Angeles.

He returned to Colorado in the year 2000 and initiated the founding of European Precision Homes Incorporated as a subsidiary of PMF Massiv- und Fachwerkhaus GmbH, a Germany based OSM home builder, in Vail, Colorado. At this time he met Robert Schraven, the PA of the chairman of PMF Massiv- und Fachwerkhaus GmbH. Shortly after that, the German company was also restructured under the name European Precision Homes Germany GmbH.

After resigning as President of EPH Incorporated in 2004 he went to start his company again and organized the Zurich UK registration for Davinci Haus GmbH, Germany.
